Action Network Meetup - October

The Action Network Meetup is a bi-monthly, generative gathering, where people who share similar values in caring for the environment – and our community, as part of the environment - come together to sprout ideas, learn skills, and offer each other hope and a network of support.

At our October Meetup we will:

  • Discuss current topics of relevance to the local environment and energy transition.
  • Share a meal and meet up with incredible people in a fun and relaxed environment.
  • Find out how you can get more involved with upcoming activities.
  • More to come....

We invite you to come exactly as you are and engage as much or as little as you'd like. The meetup will go for two hours, but you're welcome to drop in or out at any point. All are welcome.

Don't stress if you can't make this one, we'll be hosting Action Network Meetups every second month, on alternating Thursday evening and Sunday afternoons so there will be plenty of opportunities to come along in the future. You can check when our next meetup is on and see what other exciting events are coming up here.

These times are challenging; as the cost of living grows, society becomes increasingly fragmented, and climate change continues to impact our lives in more extreme ways. The best response is to rebuild a powerful and organised citizenry, capable of taking power back from corporations, and create a fair, sustainable and prosperous future that serves the needs of people and the planet.

We can create of a new and better society – and it will take all of us.

By attending this event you are agreeing to uphold Environment Victoria's Community Principles, act respectfully and ensure the safety and well-being of all attending.

We do ask that you leave your dog at home, except Assistance or therapy dogs, who are very welcome.

Do I have to join Environment Victoria as a member?

No. While there are a range of different ways you can get involved with us; this event is open to anyone who shares our values and passion for community working together. Whether you are interested in finding out more or already belong to an existing group, we invite you to come along.
